What can a car actually tell you?

More than most owners realise — paired phones, recent destinations, route history, doors opened, seatbelts buckled, gear engaged, voice commands, integrated calls and (in many vehicles) crash event data with pre-collision speed, throttle and braking.

Do you have to take the car apart?

Usually no. Most extractions happen via the OBD/diagnostic port or by removing the head unit on the bench. We aim for non-destructive workflows wherever possible.

Can you do EDR / 'black box' crash retrieval?

Yes — on Bosch-CDR-supported vehicles. We retrieve pre-crash speed, throttle, braking and seatbelt status, then preserve and report it for civil, criminal and insurance proceedings.

What about a stolen or recovered vehicle?

Often very productive. The infotainment system frequently retains paired-phone artefacts and recent destinations from the offender — we can extract these to support a police brief.

Will the evidence stand up in an Australian court?
